I am a PhD student in the field of cancer research.
I have been in academic research since 2000. In my young and humble opinion, scientific research, unfortunately, has become slightly detached from its real focus and the real goal has been, in many instances, blurred.
Why? Many reasons, including: competition, limited funding, politics, and many more, unfortunately!I decided I do not want to get caught up in that system. Therefore, after I receive my PhD degree, I would like to start a non-profit organization that focuses on bridging the gap between the scientific academic research community and the general public.
For example, I would like to focus my efforts on projects like this website.
My goal is to generate funds privately through my other internet development projects, to free up my time, which I will use to create more resources similar to this website.
